NOTES: The DL-11 Modular Weapon system is standard issue for all troopers in the independent Ceti Alpha system. A custom Heavy Pistol, it has attachments for a scope, stock and barrel. Mixing these allows for a carbine/S.M.G. (Pistol & Barrel), a rifle (Pistol, Barrel & Stock) and Sniper Rifle (Pistol, Barrel, Stock and Scope).
The Fabrication Rights Management system built into these units makes for an almost impossible to copy weapon, and stolen or salvaged DL-11's are much sought after. The DL-11 weapon system can accept two mods. The mods must be fitted after the weapon is assembled, so an S.M.G. build cannot accept pistol or rifle mods due to size and power limitations.

Fortunately for the Galaxy at large this weapon is almost unique to the Salarian STG, and the few that have made it beyond the STG defy replication due to superior Fabrication Rights Management Technology that protects the weapon design. Each explosive shot produces the equivalent heat of ten standard shots, the explosive shot mode will not function if the thermal clip cannot manage the heat. The explosive shot mode is charged single shot only, and at all ranges the damage is 10D8 x 2 with a 2m blast radius.
