GROUND EXPLORATION VEHICLE

    1. G.E.V.

The common Ground Exploration Vehicle [GEV] has been produced on many worlds for centuries. The typical layout allows for eight people and cargo on internal and external storage spaces.

The top mount can hold a pair of mission specific scanners or equipment. No weapons are fitted as standard, but basic kinetic barriers are fitted.

As long as the hull is not breached the interior can maintain a habitable atmosphere for most species for up to 48 hours. It can also float for short durations with an intact hull and active mass effect fields.

The GEV can climb slopes up to 65 degrees. It can handle temperatures up to 250°C and up to 5 atmospheres of pressure (which means it can dive 50 meters deep at standard Earth gravity).
