Skill Magazines are an addition to the Palladium rules based on the Skill Mags and Books we all find in Oblivion, Skyrim and the many Bethesda games. While characters get additional skills as they level up, there is also now the opportunity to study while travelling to gain additional skills, or, bonuses to existing skills.

This is limited to one bonus skill per two levels.

Characters will have to find, purchase or steal skill books/magazines and declare they are studying these once they have a set, however, only one person can study a set at any given time, though there are multiple sets available.

Skill choice or bonus must be decided on and agreed with GM before beginning study and cannot be changed after.

Characters may only use a set of magazines/books once for an advancement, though they can be passed to other characters after.

Each set of books or magazines covers a small range of skills, usually within the same skill categories, these will be identified once skill books have been obtained.

As skill magazines are obtained they will be listed here along with available options for study.
